A. I don't have to agree with every word that man or any man says. How often does that happen in life, anyway, where someone agrees with everything someone else says? Second, Jesus could die a torturous death for us, while not dying for our stinking sins. He could die that death for us to show us how to obey the Father's will. It was the Father's will that Jesus live a mortal life on earth, and that's what Jesus did, to the bitter end, the same as we all have to do. Jesus said why he came here and you don't believe him:

prostituée dour “To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth.” (John 18:37)

Why didn't Jesus say, "san andreas prostituée “To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should die for you and your stinking sins.”

Funny, he never said that.

As I have told you already, neither Jesus nor any of his 12 chosen apostles ever preached the "I came to die a torturous death on the cross for you and your stinking sins" to the people. THAT is not the gospel of the kingdom that Jesus preached and which he told his followers to preach and it's NOT from Jesus. Prove me wrong.

No, I didn't say I agreed, but even if Jesus did die a torturous death for us, that doesn't mean he died for our stinking sins. And he certainly never preached that "gospel" to the people.

Quote from cupocheer:

No, that's the error. Read these verses:

"And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and la prostituée de 16 ans preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people." (Matthew 9:35)

"And it came to pass... that Jesus went throughout every city and village, one piece luffy rencontre hancock preaching and showing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him..." (Luke 8:1)

Jesus is NOT the gospel. That's where Christianity has gone wrong. The real gospel that Jesus preached is not about Jesus. The real gospel is about God the Father and doing the Father's will and having eternal life with the Father thereby.

"Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; rencontre ce soir paris but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21)

euro 2012 prostituées "For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother." (Matthew 12:50)

Christianity has not preached the "gospel of the kingdom" that Jesus preached and which he told his followers to preach, for 2000 years. Instead, Christianity preaches the gospel ABOUT Jesus, not the gospel FROM Jesus.

Terminology 101

Well, at least yours is in here somewhere. I've bolded what I believe is the meaning of the world "gospel" as in "the gospel of the kingdom" (Matthew 9:35) and "the glad tidings (good news) of the kingdom of God" (Luke 8:1)

God the Father is "the truth." That's what Jesus said he came to bear witness to at Matthew 18:37.

You can "preach Jesus," or you can "preach the cross," or you can preach "the gospel of the kingdom" that Jesus preached and which Jesus told his followers to preach. But Christians haven't preached the latter for 2000 years. And look at the mess the world is in. Just think how it might have turned out had Christians preached "the gospel of the kingdom" that Jesus told them to do. Christians preach some "gospel," but it's nothing that Jesus told them to preach. I know, this is a hard pill for Christians to swallow, to be told they have preached the wrong gospel for 2000 years. They don't want to hear it and they won't have it. But alas, it's true.

Which aliens are you talking about, PLEASE NAME THEM, and which "anyones" are you talking about that have been seduced by these so far unnamed and unknown aliens? I believe in God the Father, I believe in the Trinity, I believe in Jesus' divinity, I believe in the Crucifixion and the Resurrection, and I believe in eternal life with God in Heaven, so tell me how I have been seduced? Tell me which of my beliefs above disqualifies me from salvation in your opinion. Which beliefs do you have that are superior to mine and who do they come from?

Does this mean anything to you?

THE NINTH ONE:

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour" is the ninth (respectively the eighth according to the Chinese and Japanese people count [1]) of the Ten Commandments,[2] which are widely understood as moral imperatives by Jewish scholars, Catholic scholars, and Post-Reformation scholars.[3][4][5]

There are six things that the LORD strongly dislikes, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, canal rencontre dofus a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
—?Proverbs 6:16–19

Do you believe in angels? They're all "aliens," every one of them. And the universe is full of them.

And no, Jesus, the cross, the gospel of the kingdom, the good news, and the gospel are not all the same things. Jesus preached "the gospel of the kingdom" to the multitude and he was not preaching that he was the gospel or that the cross was the gospel, obviously. You believe that because Paul has misled you and then he told you that if you preached anything but what he said, you would be "accursed."

rencontres pour personnes bipolaires "Being crafty, I caught you with guile." (2Co 12:16)

You're the one who has been seduced, and by an earthling named Paul. He tells you right in the bible. The truth is hiding in plain sight.

**WE** ARE ALL WAITING FOR THE NEW HEAVEN THE NEW EARTH AND THE HEAVENLY NEW JERUSALEM**

There are some who believe that Jesus never promised to take anyone to Heaven as their final abode. He only promised that they would inherit the present earth and rule on the present earth with him.

**BUT WHAT DOES GOD'S WORD SAY**??

John 18:36: Jesus says, "My Kingdom is **NOT OF THIS WORLD**. If it were, My servants would fight to prevent My arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now **MY KINGDOM IS FROM ANOTHER PLACE**!!"

Galatians 4:25,26: Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. But the **JERUSALEM THAT IS **ABOVE** is free, and she is our mother!!

Revelation 3:12: Jesus says, "I will write on him the city of My God, the **NEW JERUSALEM**!!"

Revelation 21:1-3,5,9,10: Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had **PASSED AWAY**, and there was no more sea. I saw the Holy City, the **NEW JERUSALEM**, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a **BRIDE** beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men and He will live with them....He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new! Then He said , "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true!"...... "Come I will show you the **BRIDE*, the wife of the Lamb." And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God!

Hebrews 12:26-28: God says, "Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens. The words "once more" indicate the removing of what can be shaken--that is created things--so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a *KINGDOM* that can not be shaken let us be thankful...for our God is a consuming fire!

2 Peter 3:10-13: But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will DISAPPEAR with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and *EVERYTHING* in it will be burned up {NIV}. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you wait eagerly for the Day of God to come. {NIV} That Day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with His promise **WE** {Excluding Lud & Urantia} are looking forward to a New heavens and a New Earth, the home of righteousness.

I Corinthians 15:50--51: I declare to you brothers, that flesh and blood CANNOT INHERIT the *KINGDOM OF GOD*... Listen I tell you a mystery: we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet."

"I SAW A NEW HEAVEN, A NEW EARTH AND THE NEW JERUSALEM!!" REVELATION 21:1

Hebrews 11:13-16: All these people {Abraham, Sarah Isaac, Jacob, Noah} were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. People who say such things show they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left,

they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were looking for a BETTER COUNTRY--a **HEAVENLY ONE**. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a *CITY* (The *NEW JERUSALEM*} for them!!

Revelation 22:16,18,19: "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to give you this testimony for the churches.....I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this Book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book {Including eternal hell}. And if anyone takes *WORDS AWAY* {Like Lud & Urantia}from this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the Tree of Life and in the Holy City {The **NEW JERUSALEM**}, which are described in this Book.!!"

The New Jerusalem is described in Revelation 21:9 to Revelation 22:5. The New Jerusalem will be 12,000 stadia {which is about 1377 miles} long, high and wide as per Revelation 21:16. A stadia is 606 feet long which is the exact same length as the ancient Greek stadium. 606 feet times 12,000 equals 7,272,000 feet which is 1377 miles plus 1,440 feet. A mile is exactly 5,280 feet. {1377 times 5,280 feet equal 7,270,560 feet.} And so the New Jerusalem will be exactly 1377 miles plus 1,440 feet long, wide and high!!

Revelation 21:9-12,15-16,19,23,27; Revelation 22:1-6: The angel said to John, “Come, I will show you the Bride the Wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God It shone like the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel. It had a great high wall {1377 miles plus 1,440 feet HIGH!} with 12 gates, and with 12 angels at the gates.

The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the City, its gates and its walls. The City was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the City with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia {A Stadia is exactly 606 feet} in length, and as wide and high as it is long. {1377 miles plus 1,440 feet long, wide and high} The wall was made of Jasper, and the

City of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone....... The great street of the City was of pure gold, like transparent glass...... Only those written in the Lamb's Book of Life will be able to enter the New Jerusalem!

Then the angel showed me the river of the Water of Life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and the Lamb {Jesus} down the middle of the great street of the City. On each side of the river stood the Tree of Life, bearing 12 crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month... The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the City, and his servants will serve Him. They will see His face and His name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night!! They will not need the light of the lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. The angel said to me, “These words are TRUSTWORTHY and TRUE!!”

The throne of the Father and the throne of the Lamb Jesus will be the only 2 thrones in the New Jerusalem as per Revelation 22:1 and Revelation 22:3 above.

Matthew 25:31: Jesus says, "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His **GLORIOUS THRONE**!"

Revelation 3:21: Jesus says, "To everyone who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with Me on **MY THRONE**!"

Revelation 2:17: Jesus says, "I will also give that person a white stone with a **NEW NAME** written on it, known only to the one who receives it!!"

You bear false witness against me and against God's new revelation to our world by INSINUATION. There's lots of clever ways to bear false witness.

insinuation:
noun
1.
an indirect or covert suggestion or hint, especially of a derogatory nature:

2.
covert or artful suggestion or hinting, as of something implied:

3.
subtle or artful instillment into the mind.

I suggest you don't talk about "aliens" in The Urantia Book if you don't know what you're talking about. All of the authors of the Papers in The Urantia Book are celestial beings working on behalf of God's government and all their names or status are given in the book. There are no "unknown" authors.

I'm going to post the list of the Papers in The Urantia Book along with their authors in a following post.

Quote from followjesusonly:

Sad sad sad, again you bear false witness against me.

Where is your proof or any evidence at all, that I bear false witness against you?

And for your information, God doesn't have a new revelation.

And he certainly doesn't need various agents to speak to man.
That's what he sent his spirit to do.

Id throw that book away...
You are the one bearing false witness about God by saying he had anything to do with that book.

Yes, he does, and you'll eventually have to explain to Him why you refused to read it. God has sent a new revelation and you refuse to read it. How are you different from those who refused to hear Jesus? They said, "He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?" (John 10:20)

There's no difference between that attitude toward Jesus and your attitude toward God's new revelation, The Urantia Book.

"Um, Jesus, the reason I refused to read your new revelation to our world is because I thought I already knew it all."

Amiright?

And he certainly doesn't need various agents to speak to man.
That's what he sent his spirit to do.

In the bible Jesus says the Spirit of Truth will guide you into all truth, not "speak to man" as you have it. Anyway, the "various agents" are all angels and celestials in service of God's government. Who are you to say what they do or don't do on God's behalf? And I didn't say they speak to man. I said they authored the book which you refuse to read because you believe you already know it all.

Id throw that book away...
You are the one bearing false witness about God by saying he had anything to do with that book.

It's ignorant of you to say that without reading The Urantia Book. The only basis you can have for such a statement is that The Urantia Book is wrong because it's not what you already believe and you already know it all.

You should throw away ALL of your religious reading material except for the very words of Jesus, the Son of God. There's nothing in the bible that you need to know that Jesus didn't say.

This is all you need to know to be saved:

You thought wrong. I follow Jesus and the bible words in red to the extent that we can be sure Jesus said them.

The only way you can know what Jesus said for sure with the bible is if any particular verse is validated in The Urantia Book. John 5:39 is not validated by The Urantia Book. John 5:39 has been added to Jesus by someone with an agenda or a faulty memory, since it was written down decades after Jesus lived, and John of course being an outlier, not one of the synoptic gospels. Jesus never said what is recorded at John 5:39 and I do not follow John. Jesus' true words, as recorded by God's eyewitnesses, his angels and midwayers, are in The Urantia Book. But no one can make you read them, you have to do it yourself. Start at Paper 121 and read to the end. It's the complete life and teachings of Jesus, from God's universe records. If you supply me with a valid postal address, name, street or PO box, city and state, I can send you the above mentioned Papers (121-196, the Life and teachings of Jesus) published separately from the larger Urantia book, free of charge. It doesn't even have to be your name or your address, just somewhere that you can get the book at. It even has a nice Salvador Dali picture on the cover.

**JESUS SAYS, "MY MOTHER AND BROTHERS ARE THOSE WHO HEARS **GOD'S WORD** AND **PUTS IT INTO PRACTICE**!" {Luke 8:21}

Psalm 119 has 176 verses praising the Word of God. The Old Testament had 613 laws and the New Covenant of Jesus and His love has about 400 commands which Psalm 119 also applies to. Some of my favorite verses is Psalm 119 are:

119:105: Your Word is a Lamp to my feet and a Light for my path.
119:97: Oh how I love your law, I meditate on it all day long.
119:148: My eyes stay open through the watches of the night, that I meditate on your promises.
119:164: Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous laws.
119:16: All your Words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.
119:169: Give me understanding according to your Word.
119:2: Blessed are those who keep His statues and seek Him with all your heart.
119:11: I have hidden your Word in my heart that I might not sin against You.
119:28: Strengthen me according to your Word.

Deut 18:17-19: The Lord says, "I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put My words in His mouth, and He will tell them everything I command Him. If anyone does not listen to My words that the Prophet speaks in My Name, I Myself will call Him to account."

John 14:23,24: Jesus says, "If anyone loves Me, He will **OBEY MY TEACHING**! My Father will love Him, and we will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me will not obey My teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent Me."

THE GREAT COMMISSION: Matthew 28:18-20: Jesus says, “All authority in heaven and on *EARTH has been given to Me {Not some RC Pope}. Therefore go and make disciples of *ALL NATIONS*...teaching them to **OBEY EVERYTHING** I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very *END OF THE AGE*!”

I Peter 1:23-25: You have been **BORN AGAIN THROUGH THE LIVING AND ENDURING **WORD OF GOD**!! All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field, the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the **WORD OF THE LORD STANDS FOREVER**. And this is the **WORD** that was preached to you.

Matthew 24:35: Jesus says, Heaven and earth will pass away, but **MY WORDS WILL NEVER PASS AWAY**!"

I John 2:3-5: We know we have come to know Him {Jesus} if we obey His commands. The man who says, "I know Him," but does not do what He commands is a liar and the truth is not in him. But if anyone **OBEYS HIS WORD**, God's love is truly made complete in him!

Matthew 4:4: Jesus says, "Man does not live on bread alone, but on **EVERY WORD FROM THE MOUTH OF GOD**!"

Matthew 7:24,26: Jesus says, "Everyone who hears these **WORDS OF MINE** and **PUTS THEM INTO PRACTICE** is like a wise man who built his house on a Rock... But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand."

Luke 8:21: Jesus says, "My mother and brothers are those who hears **GOD'S WORD** and **PUTS THEM INTO PRACTICE!**"

James 1:22,25: Do not merely listen to the **WORD**, and so deceive yourselves. **DO WHAT IT SAYS**... The man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, **BUT DOING IT**, he will be blessed in what he does.

Matthew 13:23: Jesus says, "But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the **WORD AND UNDERSTANDS IT**. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown."

John 15:1,2,5,16: Jesus says, "I am the True Vine and my Father is the Gardener. He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful!... This is to my Father's glory that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be My disciples!... You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit--fruit that will last!"

Luke 8:15: Jesus says, "But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the **WORD**, retain it, and by perseverance produce a crop."

John 17:17: Jesus prays to His Father, "Sanctify them by the Truth, **YOUR WORD IS TRUTH**!"

Acts 20:32: Paul says, "Now I commit you to God and to the **WORD OF HIS GRACE**, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified!"

Romans 10:17: Consequently, **FAITH COMES FROM HEARING THE MESSAGE**, and the message is heard **THROUGH THE WORD OF CHRIST**!

James 1:18; He chose to give us **BIRTH THROUGH THE WORD** of Truth!!

I Corinthians 15:2: By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the **WORD** preached to you. Otherwise you have believed in vain!

2 Corinthians 2:17: Unlike so many, we do not peddle the **WORD OF GOD** for profit!

2 Corinthians 4:2: We do not use deception, nor do we distort the **WORD OF GOD**!

Ephesians 1:`13: You also were included in Christ **WHEN** you heard the **WORD** of Truth, the gospel of your salvation.

Ephesians 2:17: Take the sword of the Spirit, which is the **WORD OF GOD**!

Colossians 1:25: I have become its servant by the commission God gave to me to present to you the **WORD OF GOD IN ALL ITS FULLNESS**!

Colossians 3:16: Let the **WORD OF CHRIST** dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom!

I Thessalonians 2:13: We thank God continually because, when you received the **WORD OF GOD**, which you heard from us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the **WORD OF GOD**!

2 Timothy 2:15: Do your best to present yourselves to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who **CORRECTLY HANDLES THE WORD ** of truth!

2 Timothy 3:15,16: 4:1,2: You have known the **HOLY SCRIPTURES**,which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. **ALL SCRIPTURE IS GOD-BREATHED** and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom, I give you this charge: **PREACH THE WORD**!! {**WHICH IS THE ENTIRE NEW COVENANT AND NEW TESTAMENT**!!}

Now thats funny.

You make the argument that it was recorded decades later.

But the urantia was written centuries later.

So you've changed words from "recorded" to "written" now, is that right?

The records in The Urantia Book were "recorded" instantly at the time the events happened. God's angels keep perfect records.

And as for validation.
The OT and the NT have their own validation, they validate each other from one to the other, unashamed to list their names as the writer of the books.

No one knows who wrote most of the books in the bible. Scholars know this. Fundamentalists such as yourself, not so much. You can learn more about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Authorship_of_the_Bible

Anyway, you are wandering around in lost land. It doesn't matter whether or not the OT and the NT validate each other, which is your opinion anyway. That's the doctrine you've been taught. The Jews don't agree with you and the OT is their book. But more to the point, in the entire bible, this is all you need to know:

association rencontre et loisir lyon ...Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (Luke 10:25)

"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself." (Luke 10:27)

rencontre fille moscou "For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother." (Matthew 12:50)

You can safely throw the rest out. If you want to be saved, you must do the Father's will. Nothing else in the so-called bible matters.

then there is urantia, supposedly, no proof whatsoever, to have been given to a man while in some sort of trans.

That may be a story you've that you've picked up from some Christian anti site, but it's not the story we have. And of course, you weren't there so you really don't know anything about it. All you have is a story from a Christian site that is anti-Urantia Book in the same way that the people who had Jesus killed were against him and who lied about him. No, The Urantia Book was not supposedly given to a man while in some sort of trance. And then there is the bible, supposedly, no proof whatsoever, to have been authored by God or breathed by God. No proof whatsoever.

ashamed to list the author,

All the authors of The Urantia Book are given in the book.

I dont need nor want that book.

Of course. I understand. You already believe you know it all. No problem. But I had to offer it to you. Now you are officially on record as having refused to read God's new revelation to our world, either because you think you already know it all, or because you are very, very afraid. If you get to the Mansions and you're asked why you refused to read God's new revelation, you can say, "Well, I thought I already knew it all, but I guess I was wrong, and too, I was very afraid of finding out any new truth that might conflict with my settled beliefs."

You are like the steward who received one talent and who buried it in the ground for safekeeping, to give it back to his master with no increase.

youve been duped by satan himself.

You have been duped by a mere man who plainly said, rencontre behren "Being crafty, I caught you with guile." (2Co 12:16) and who had to reassure people at least four times in the bible that he was "not lying." Who else in the bible did that?

"Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. These twelve Jesus sent forth..." Matthew 10:2-5

Like everything. List all your beliefs. You can't prove any of them. Like, starting with, do you believe in God? If you do, you do so without any proof whatsoever. Do you believe the bible is "God's Word"? You do so without any proof whatsoever. You can't prove any of your religious beliefs to anyone. That's why they're called beliefs. If you could prove any of your beliefs then everyone would have to believe as you do, since you could prove they were true. But you can't.

Now that where your wrong.
I don't believe without proof.
I have my proof.
I talk to God and he talks to me.
Is that proof enough?

I've seen him work in my life and in others.
Is that proof enough?

He has answered many of my prayers and prayers of others I know.
Is that proof enough?

He has done miracles in my life and in my family's life.
Is that proof enough.

He guides me, he chastises me,
Is that proof enough.

Nope, I can't prove to you any of these things.
But I have the proof for myself.

Just like if I told you I could read your mind.
I can tell you that I think that your thinking of the number 7
And you say nope number 9

Well, you can't prove I was wrong can you, nor can you proof you were thinking of the number 9.

But you know the truth, even though you can't prove it, it's enough proof to you that I could not read your mind.

So nope, I don't believe in God without proof.
I don't believe the scriptures are inspired without proof
I don't believe Jesus died and rose again without proof
I don't believe in salvation without proof

Maybe you believe in those things and have no proof.
I would suggest you get some faith.
For faith is the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen.

Guess what? The substance might not be seen, but evidence is.

There's no "lud" here. And your "John" records were recorded or written down 60 years after Jesus died.

And God doesnt need angels to record things,

Maybe he does and maybe he doesn't. Who are you to say? There are many beings in God's universe between men and God. What do you think they do all day? Play harps? In fact, God delegates much of the duties of running his universe to angels and other celestial beings. God doesn't personally do everything in the universe that needs doing. You know the "voice in the Garden"? That was an angel named Solonia. It was not God speaking. It was an angel speaking for God, relaying the message. This is the sort of thing angels do. Gabriel with Mary is another example. Except for Matthew 17:5, there is no case in the bible where God the Father, the Creator of the Universe, speaks.

he already knows, and I dare say he could repeat it perfectly without their records.

Perhaps. Or perhaps you have a childlike idea about God and what he does and how he runs the universe. God himself, lives in or on "Paradise." Paradise is, or is located, in a deep, deep gravity well, what we might call a "black hole," or perhaps in a cluster of black holes. This is one of the reasons why we cannot see God and live, as the bible says, and is also evident from the fact that a day on Paradise is like a thousand years on earth. (Psa_90:4) (2Pe_3:8) It's known that time slows greatly in a deep gravity well. Did you see the movie, "Interstellar"?

Of course pauls name isnt there. .he wasnt one of the apostles at that time.

He never was. He fooled you. He says he fooled you.

Your name nor mine is there either, but we are apostles for God...go figure

Yes, Jesus was very clever. He finessed a lot of bad situations like that. I have no problem with being caught by Jesus, the Son of God.

But Jesus doesn't brag about how he caught someone with cleverness. Paul does. Paul boastfully let's us know that he successfully tricked us into something or other, and then lays on another layer of intimidation by saying that if we don't preach what he, Paul, says, we will be "accursed." And Jesus never has to say, "I lie not," as Paul apparently had to say. There must have been a cloud of distrust around Paul, there must have been a lot of folks who simply didn't believe him. He does come across as a slick, shady used car salesman.

In another post I'm going to post what The Urantia Book says about the authorship of the four "gospels."

PREVIOUS WRITTEN RECORDS (from The Urantia Book. "Urantia" = Earth)

121:8.1 As far as possible, consistent with our mandate, we have endeavored to utilize and to some extent co-ordinate the existing records having to do with the life of Jesus on Urantia. Although we have enjoyed access to the lost record of the Apostle Andrew and have benefited from the collaboration of a vast host of celestial beings who were on earth during the times of Michael’s bestowal (notably his now Personalized Adjuster), it has been our purpose also to make use of the so-called Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

121:8.2 These New Testament records had their origin in the following circumstances:

121:8.3 1. The Gospel by Mark. John Mark wrote the earliest (excepting the notes of Andrew), briefest, and most simple record of Jesus’ life. He presented the Master as a minister, as man among men. Although Mark was a lad lingering about many of the scenes which he depicts, his record is in reality the Gospel according to Simon Peter. He was early associated with Peter; later with Paul. Mark wrote this record at the instigation of Peter and on the earnest petition of the church at Rome. Knowing how consistently the Master refused to write out his teachings when on earth and in the flesh, Mark, like the apostles and other leading disciples, was hesitant to put them in writing. But Peter felt the church at Rome required the assistance of such a written narrative, and Mark consented to undertake its preparation. He made many notes before Peter died in A.D. 67, and in accordance with the outline approved by Peter and for the church at Rome, he began his writing soon after Peter’s death. The Gospel was completed near the end of A.D. 68. Mark wrote entirely from his own memory and Peter’s memory. The record has since been considerably changed, numerous passages having been taken out and some later matter added at the end to replace the latter one fifth of the original Gospel, which was lost from the first manuscript before it was ever copied. This record by Mark, in conjunction with Andrew’s and Matthew’s notes, was the written basis of all subsequent Gospel narratives which sought to portray the life and teachings of Jesus.

121:8.4 2. The Gospel of Matthew. The so-called Gospel according to Matthew is the record of the Master’s life which was written for the edification of Jewish Christians. The author of this record constantly seeks to show in Jesus’ life that much which he did was that “it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet.” Matthew’s Gospel portrays Jesus as a son of David, picturing him as showing great respect for the law and the prophets.

121:8.5 The Apostle Matthew did not write this Gospel. It was written by Isador, one of his disciples, who had as a help in his work not only Matthew’s personal remembrance of these events but also a certain record which the latter had made of the sayings of Jesus directly after the crucifixion. This record by Matthew was written in Aramaic; Isador wrote in Greek. There was no intent to deceive in accrediting the production to Matthew. It was the custom in those days for pupils thus to honor their teachers.

121:8.6 Matthew’s original record was edited and added to in A.D. 40 just before he left Jerusalem to engage in evangelistic preaching. It was a private record, the last copy having been destroyed in the burning of a Syrian monastery in A.D. 416.

121:8.7 Isador escaped from Jerusalem in A.D. 70 after the investment of the city by the armies of Titus, taking with him to Pella a copy of Matthew’s notes. In the year 71, while living at Pella, Isador wrote the Gospel according to Matthew. He also had with him the first four fifths of Mark’s narrative.

121:8.8 3. The Gospel by Luke. Luke, the physician of Antioch in Pisidia, was a gentile convert of Paul, and he wrote quite a different story of the Master’s life. He began to follow Paul and learn of the life and teachings of Jesus in A.D. 47. Luke preserves much of the “grace of the Lord Jesus Christ” in his record as he gathered up these facts from Paul and others. Luke presents the Master as “the friend of publicans and sinners.” He did not formulate his many notes into the Gospel until after Paul’s death. Luke wrote in the year 82 in Achaia. He planned three books dealing with the history of Christ and Christianity but died in A.D. 90 just before he finished the second of these works, the “Acts of the Apostles.”

121:8.9 As material for the compilation of his Gospel, Luke first depended upon the story of Jesus’ life as Paul had related it to him. Luke’s Gospel is, therefore, in some ways the Gospel according to Paul. But Luke had other sources of information. He not only interviewed scores of eyewitnesses to the numerous episodes of Jesus’ life which he records, but he also had with him a copy of Mark’s Gospel, that is, the first four fifths, Isador’s narrative, and a brief record made in the year A.D. 78 at Antioch by a believer named Cedes. Luke also had a mutilated and much-edited copy of some notes purported to have been made by the Apostle Andrew.

121:8.10 4. The Gospel of John. The Gospel according to John relates much of Jesus’ work in Judea and around Jerusalem which is not contained in the other records. This is the so-called Gospel according to John the son of Zebedee, and though John did not write it, he did inspire it. Since its first writing it has several times been edited to make it appear to have been written by John himself. When this record was made, John had the other Gospels, and he saw that much had been omitted; accordingly, in the year A.D. 101 he encouraged his associate, Nathan, a Greek Jew from Caesarea, to begin the writing. John supplied his material from memory and by reference to the three records already in existence. He had no written records of his own. The Epistle known as “First John” was written by John himself as a covering letter for the work which Nathan executed under his direction.

121:8.11 All these writers presented honest pictures of Jesus as they saw, remembered, or had learned of him, and as their concepts of these distant events were affected by their subsequent espousal of Paul’s theology of Christianity. And these records, imperfect as they are, have been sufficient to change the course of the history of Urantia for almost two thousand years.

Of course there was a cloud of doubt around paul.

He had been persecuting the church just prior to all of this.

Are you so naive to think everyone all of a sudden trusted him.

As for paul boasting about catching them..he wasnt boasting, he was letting them know he caught them.
Just as you would do if you caught someone telling a lie, you tell them, but your not boasting your letting them know you caught them.

And yes paul did say I lie not a few time.
As I said b4 people were scared of him, he wasn't trusted by many for a long time.

But, what did jesus say?

I am the truth...
I am the way...
I am the light....
I am the door...
I am the good shepherd. .

We know and believe he is.
But you have a problem because paul said,
I am and apostle.

Why don't you have the same problem with jesus saying,
I am, all those times?

Continuation...

121:8.12 [Acknowledgment: In carrying out my commission to restate the teachings and retell the doings of Jesus of Nazareth, I have drawn freely upon all sources of record and planetary information. My ruling motive has been to prepare a record which will not only be enlightening to the generation of men now living, but which may also be helpful to all future generations. From the vast store of information made available to me, I have chosen that which is best suited to the accomplishment of this purpose. As far as possible I have derived my information from purely human sources. Only when such sources failed, have I resorted to those records which are superhuman. When ideas and concepts of Jesus’ life and teachings have been acceptably expressed by a human mind, I invariably gave preference to such apparently human thought patterns. Although I have sought to adjust the verbal expression the better to conform to our concept of the real meaning and the true import of the Master’s life and teachings, as far as possible, I have adhered to the actual human concept and thought pattern in all my narratives. I well know that those concepts which have had origin in the human mind will prove more acceptable and helpful to all other human minds. When unable to find the necessary concepts in the human records or in human expressions, I have next resorted to the memory resources of my own order of earth creatures, the midwayers. And when that secondary source of information proved inadequate, I have unhesitatingly resorted to the superplanetary sources of information.

121:8.13 The memoranda which I have collected, and from which I have prepared this narrative of the life and teachings of Jesus—aside from the memory of the record of the Apostle Andrew—embrace thought gems and superior concepts of Jesus’ teachings assembled from more than two thousand human beings who have lived on earth from the days of Jesus down to the time of the inditing of these revelations, more correctly restatements. The revelatory permission has been utilized only when the human record and human concepts failed to supply an adequate thought pattern. My revelatory commission forbade me to resort to extrahuman sources of either information or expression until such a time as I could testify that I had failed in my efforts to find the required conceptual expression in purely human sources.

121:8.14 While I, with the collaboration of my eleven associate fellow midwayers and under the supervision of the Melchizedek of record, have portrayed this narrative in accordance with my concept of its effective arrangement and in response to my choice of immediate expression, nevertheless, the majority of the ideas and even some of the effective expressions which I have thus utilized had their origin in the minds of the men of many races who have lived on earth during the intervening generations, right on down to those who are still alive at the time of this undertaking. In many ways I have served more as a collector and editor than as an original narrator. I have unhesitatingly appropriated those ideas and concepts, preferably human, which would enable me to create the most effective portraiture of Jesus’ life, and which would qualify me to restate his matchless teachings in the most strikingly helpful and universally uplifting phraseology. In behalf of the Brotherhood of the United Midwayers of Urantia, I most gratefully acknowledge our indebtedness to all sources of record and concept which have been hereinafter utilized in the further elaboration of our restatement of Jesus’ life on earth.]

No, you can't. I wish you could. I wish we all could, but we cannot. The proof of God for each one of us, believers, is entirely personal and subjective.

Perhaps we just don't have a unified understanding of what the words "prove" and "proof" mean. I mean, just look at Ludlow and what the word "prove" means to him:

I can prove that Mary is the Queen of Heaven. The Catholic Church says so, and the Church is infallible about things like this. -Ludlow the Catholic

Titus 2:13: **WE** wait for the Blessed Hope--the glorious appearing of our **GREAT GOD** and Savior, Jesus Christ!!

John 20:27-29: Then He said to Thomas, "Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe!" Thomas said to him, "My Lord and **MY GOD**!" Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed!"

Isaiah 9:6: For unto us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor and **MIGHTY GOD**!

**GOD'S WORD COMMANDS THAT WE SHOULD ONLY WORSHIP GOD**!!

Matthew 4:9,10: Satan said to Jesus, "All this I will give you if you bow down and worship me." Jesus said to him, Away from Me Satan! For it is written, '**WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD** and serve Him only!

Revelation 22:8,9: I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, "**DON'T DO THAT** A am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who **KEEP THE WORDS** of this scroll. **WORSHIP GOD**!!

Hebrews 1:6,8: When God brings His firstborn into the world He says, "Let all God's angels **WORSHIP HIM**.... About the Son He says, "Your throne, **O GOD**, will last for ever and ever, a scepter of justice will be the scepter of **YOUR KINGDOM**!"

Matthew 28:18-20: Jesus says, "**ALL AUTHORITY**in heaven and on earth has been given to **ME**. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always!"

**JESUS CHRIST, OUR GREAT GOD AND SAVIOR**

Jesus is **WORSHIPED** many times in God's Word in Matthew 2:2,8,11; 14:33; 28:9,17 Luke 24:52 John 9:38 and Revelation 5:14 and !5:4!!

Matthew 2:10,11: When the Wise Men saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the Child with His mother Mary, and they bowed down and **WORSHIPED HIM**!

Matthew 14:33; Then those who were in the boat **WORSHPED HIM**!!

Matthew 28:8,9: So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell His disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," He said. They came to Him, clasped His feet and **WORSHIPED HIM**!

Matthew 28:16,17: Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When the saw Him, they **WORSHIPED HIM**!

There are some who completely ignore these Scriptures and claim that Jesus is not God because he said that the Father is greater than me in John 14:28 and that the Father told Him what to say as per John 14:23,24: Jesus says, "Anyone who loves Me will obey My teaching. My Father will love them, and We will come to them and make our home with them. Anyone who does not love Me will not obey My teaching. The words you hear are not My own; they belong to the Father who sent Me."

John 9:37,38: Jesus said, "You have now seen Him; in fact, He is the one speaking with you!" Then the man said, "Lord, I believe," and he **WORSHIPED HIM**!

NOTE: Jesus is called the **LAMB** 30 times in the book of Revelation!

Revelation 5:13,14: Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, an all that is In them, saying "To Him who sits on the throne and to the **LAMB** be praise and honor and glory and power for ever and ever!" The 4 living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and **WORSHIPED**!

Revelation 17:14; They will wage war against the **LAMB**, but the **LAMB** will overcome them because He is **LORD** of lords and King of kings--and with Him will be His **CALLED**, *CHOSEN** and **FAITHFUL** followers!!

Quote from looptex1:
Of course there was a cloud of doubt around paul.

He had been persecuting the church just prior to all of this.

He also wasn't one of Jesus' apostles, Jesus never knew him, and so on. He tricked you. He says so.

As for paul boasting about catching them..he wasnt boasting, he was letting them know he caught them.
Just as you would do if you caught someone telling a lie, you tell them, but your not boasting your letting them know you caught them.

Whatever you say.

Because I am a follower and believer in Jesus, the Son of God, but I am not a follower or believer in Paul, a mere man who never met Jesus and who never was with Jesus or any other such mere men, and I DO NOT have to believe in Paul or in anything Paul ever said in order to be saved. Nor do you. Paul has nothing to do with my salvation or yours. Everything I need to know to be saved was said by Jesus.

"Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; etude sur site de rencontre but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21)

You must do the Father's will to be saved.

Paul, like the Catholic church, is irrelevant. My salvation does not depend on Paul or the Catholic church, contrary to what Ludlow says.

I don't believe without proof.
I have my proof.
I talk to God and he talks to me.
Is that proof enough?

Not for anyone except for you. It's personal and subjective.

I've seen him work in my life and in others.
Is that proof enough?

See above.

He has answered many of my prayers and prayers of others I know.
Is that proof enough?

See above.

He has done miracles in my life and in my family's life.
Is that proof enough.

See above.

He guides me, he chastises me,
Is that proof enough.

See above.

I can prove that Mary is the Queen of Heaven. The Catholic Church says so, and the Church is infallible about things like this. -Ludlow the Catholic

Is that proof enough?

The fact that the different translations of the Bible disagree with one another is more proof that we need the teaching authority of the Catholic Church to interpret. See II Peter 1:20, I Timothy 3:15, Proverbs 3:5, and Acts 8:31. -Ludlow the Catholic

Is that proof enough?

Nope, I can't prove to you any of these things.
But I have the proof for myself.

Yes, understood. Proof for yourself. I have no argument with that. When I say you can't prove your beliefs, I mean you can't prove them to anyone else. That should be obvious.

Pay attention sweet heart.

You claim the celestial beings recorded all these things that happened, when they happened.
So according to that, they should be accurate.

je rencontre huy 121:8.3 1. 68.

I tried to underline what you need to see.
According to your sources, mark wrote the earliest and started in 67ad and finished in 68ad

Now let's look farther

rencontres de villiers le bois 121:8.8 3.

Take note, you have Luke writing acts in 90ad why doesn't Luke mention 70ad?

la rencontre imprévue gluck 121:8.10 4.

Here you have John writing, or rather someone writing for him in 101ad, and still, no mention of 70ad

You really don't have a clue do you?
You have no idea how important the temple was to them and how devastating the destruction would have been, so much so that many many writers spoke of it and gave accounts of it, but Luke and John do not even say a word?

Heck, Jesus spoke of it happening and you think that John and Luke would not have mentioned the fulfillment of his words.

Yes, that's right. And bible scholars, aside from fundamentalists who are not, also know that Mark was the first gospel. Google it.

It says Matthew's original record, probably some notes, not the gospel according to Matthew. That was written by Isador in 71.

Because that's not the subject of this section of Paper 121, which is entitled: "PREVIOUS WRITTEN RECORDS." There's a lot in the book about the destruction of Jerusalem, but this part is not about that, it's about "PREVIOUS WRITTEN RECORDS." Why would a section called "PREVIOUS WRITTEN RECORDS" have anything in it about the destruction of Jerusalem? That makes no sense.

People who believe will certainly try to glorify what they believe in.

They see christ in us.

Maybe they do and maybe they don't. Maybe some do and maybe some don't. Do you see Christ in Jehovah's Witnesses lives? Or Amish lives? Or Mormon lives? There's a lot of folks walking around trying to pass themselves off as holy. Ludlow even says, "Yes, I speak for God."

Can you top that?

What they see in us is proof of what they don't see.

Maybe it is and maybe it ain't. We'd have to conduct a poll. And if one single person said that what they see in you is not proof of what they don't see, then you'd be wrong.

As if said earlier, evidence can be and is seen.

It depends. How many have converted to your religion and told you that you are walking, talking proof of God?

I think you should ask Matthew, Luke, or John why they wrote what they wrote. As it is with what anyone writes or says. If you want to know why someone wrote or said anything, you have to ask the writer or sayer. But if I had to guess, I'd say they probably wrote about the life and teachings of Jesus because that was the subject of their writing and that's what they wanted to write about and it would have been incongruous [did you look that up yet?], for them to have included a lot of other extraneous material.

extraneous:
adjective
irrelevant or unrelated to the subject being dealt with.
synonyms: irrelevant, immaterial, beside the point, unrelated, unconnected, inapposite, inapplicable, superfluous

And with regard to such things as the fall of Jerusalem, here's what Jesus told his apostles:

176:3.2 rencontre saurer aigle adresse prostituée lausanne “The downfall of nations, the crash of empires, the destruction of the unbelieving Jews, the end of an age, even the end of the world, what have these things to do with one who believes this gospel, and who has hid his life in the surety of the eternal kingdom? You who are God-knowing and gospel-believing have already received the assurances of eternal life. Since your lives have been lived in the spirit and for the Father, nothing can be of serious concern to you. Kingdom builders, the accredited citizens of the heavenly worlds, are not to be disturbed by temporal upheavals or perturbed by terrestrial cataclysms. What does it matter to you who believe this gospel of the kingdom if nations overturn, the age ends, or all things visible crash, since you know that your life is the gift of the Son, and that it is eternally secure in the Father? Having lived the temporal life by faith and having yielded the fruits of the spirit as the righteousness of loving service for your fellows, you can confidently look forward to the next step in the eternal career with the same survival faith that has carried you through your first and earthly adventure in sonship with God." -The Urantia Book

What is the most credible evidence for the dating of the Gospels in the New Testament?

D*ck Harfield

https://www.quora.com/profile/D*ck-Harfield

Answered 15h ago · Upvoted by Philip Dinwiddie, MDiv Theology & The Bible, Virginia Theological Seminary (2002)

A knowledge of the authors is critical in dating the New Testament gospels. If they were written by contemporaries of Jesus and Paul — Matthew, Mark, Luke and John — then they must have been written within perhaps two decades of Jesus’ death. However, the gospels were originally anonymous — the attributions we now have were given by the second-century Church Fathers, who assumed the gospels must have been written by people who were either eyewitnesses or who could have known eyewitnesses. New Testament scholars now say that the gospels could not have been written by eyewitness to the events portrayed.

An analysis of the ‘synoptic problem’* has convinced nearly all New Testament scholars that Mark’s Gospel was the primary source used by the authors of Matthew and Luke for their gospels. John’s Gospel is widely regarded as the last gospel to have been written, with many scholars saying that it appears to have been influenced by Luke’s Gospel. So our starting point must be Mark’s Gospel.

The clue to Mark is in chapter 13, in which Jesus describes the events of the First Roman-Jewish War and the civil war that took place within Jerusalem while the Romans were besieging the walls of the city. This could have been a genuine prophecy, in which case the passage does not help us establish the date of authorship, but the passage goes on to have Jesus prophecy his own return on clouds of glory within the lifetimes of those to whom he spoke. Since it is unacceptable that Jesus would make a failed prophecy, this was not really spoken by Jesus, but was written by the author who had personal knowledge of the events that occurred around 70 CE. Another clue is that the author of Mark seems to have known Paul’s epistles, making the date of Mark’s Gospel later than the epistles. The consensus of scholars is that Mark’s Gospel was written approximately 70 CE, give or take perhaps two or three years.

Matthew’s Gospel was the next New Testament gospel and is generally dated by scholars to the eighties of the first century. Apart from the need for this gospel to have been written at least a few years after Mark, Raymond E. Brown points out, in An Introduction to the New Testament, that the gospel’s use of “until this day” is proof that it was not written a mere two or three decades after the crucifixion (with my emphasis):

Matthew 27:8: Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.

Matthew 28:15: So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

Matthew is considered earlier than Luke because it is in some respects closer to Mark, including that the anti-Jewish rhetoric of Luke then John is less evident in Matthew.

Luke’s Gospel must be dated earlier than Acts of the Apostles, which was long thought to have been written no later than the nineties of the first century, partly because of the discrepancies between Acts and Paul’s own epistles, which began to be published widely in the second century: it was felt that if the author of Luke-Acts had access to Paul’s epistles, he would not have made so many errors in his account of Paul. Scholars are now tending to the view that Acts must have been written in the second century (See, for example, the proceedings of the Acts Seminar). This means that Luke’s Gospel could also have been written early in the second century, although a date in the late nineties is still possible. This gospel must have been written earlier than the Gospel of Marcion, which appeared in the middle of the second century, because Marcion’s Gospel is based on a redaction of Luke**.

John’s Gospel was the last New Testament gospel to be written and probably dates from the early part of the second century. There is evidence of influence from Luke’s Gospel, so it would probably have been written somewhat later than Luke. John’s Gospel shows clear signs of having been revised, probably at least twice, but also probably by the original author.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* The term ‘synoptic problem’ refers to the fact that when the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke are laid in parallel and read synoptically (‘with the same eye’), it becomes evident that there is a literary dependency among them. A technical analysis of the texts shows that Mark was the original and that Matthew and Luke were written independently, based on Mark.

** Alternatively, Luke’s Gospel was based on Marcion’s Gospel, which presumably was based on Mark’s Gospel, but this is very much a minority view and is difficult to sustain.

John stands alone -- author identified in gospel itself (John died age ant 93 so he is only living apostle who wrote himself and was with Jesus)

Mark was written by John Mark (he was a student of Simon Peter) Mark was not alive when Jesus was.

Luke was written by Luke, a doctor friend and student & companion of Saul Paul. Neither of them lived when Jesus did. Luke is a continuation of Mark. It is copied (53% the same as Mark) and the rest what Saul Paul said.

Matthew was written by Matthew. (Matthew is also Levi) Matthew is an apostle of Jesus and knew him in life. Matthew is almost a complete copy of Mark. (91%)

Here's what was going on -- one writer began and then stopped for one reason or another (died themselves or their source died) -- the next writer began copying (these people were scribes and sending hand copied word of God throughout the churches) ---- Matthew gathered as much of the documentation together as he could access and this is what he did --- he was a very learned man and was fleuent in several languages -- he translated the gospel into Greek so more Christians had access to the written word (Hebrew was the "elite" language -- more people spoke, read, wrote Greek)

PREVIOUS WRITTEN RECORDS
