The most important and
profound medical breakthrough of the 20th century is
NeuroCranial Restructuring® (NCR®). NCR®optimizes brain

The brain is like a sponge, saturated with vital fluids.
When there is mechanical pressure on the brain from the
skull—which is the case for almost all of us—parts of the
brain do not receive all the nutrients, hormones, etc. that
they need.
NCR®unlocks the skull so that the brain can freely expand
and function at its full capacity. The skull begins to lock
at birth as it is squeezed through the birth canal. Its
various bones become compressed and jammed at the sutures
and to this extent the meninges—the rubber band-like sack
that surrounds and protects the brain—cannot fully expand.
Physical and emotional traumas in any part of the body
create a snowball effect, constricting the skull: the
meninges tighten and the skull compresses, making the
meninges tighten further, etc. When the skull shape
degenerates from its original design, the head no longer
sits properly on the spine. The spine takes on a distorted
shape to support a lopsided head, and the spinal muscles
become tight to hold it in place. The muscles function like
cables holding up as tree—without this tightness, the person
would fall over.
This is why so often massage and chiropractic provide only
temporary relief: the spinal distortion and tight muscles
are necessary to stabilize an imbalanced head. When symptoms
are treated by merely straightening the spine and relaxing
the muscles, the body returns to the dysfunctional and
sometimes painful position because it’s more stable overall.
If instead one treats the cause by restoring the skull to
its original design, the muscles relax and the spine returns
to its optimal position on its own. Since this is truly a
more stable position, it holds permanently (barring more
physical or emotional trauma).
NCR®is the only therapy that creates permanent, incremental
change towards an optimally shaped and positioned skull and
spine—and thus an optimally functioning nervous system. This
has profound physical effects, such as increased ease,
flexibility, energy and mobility as well as relief from a
variety of conditions, including breathing disorders, sinus
problems, headaches, TMJ, neck and shoulder pain, muscle
spasms, scoliosis, seizures, vision problems, whiplash,
dyslexia, insomnia, snoring, ear infections, hearing
disorders, sleep apnea, Dystonia and Parkinson’s tremors.

relief from anxiety, phobias, depression, hyperactivity,
nervousness, learning disabilities and even lessening of the
effects of Down’s syndrome and Alzheimer’s. A person feels

concentrate and focus as well as a greater ease in achieving

The Age of Aquarius has promised a higher level in human

Take for example Xander Kriger who began treatment with Dr.
Dean Howell, the founder of NCR®, at 1 day of age. Xander,
who is now 15 months old, has experienced approximately 24
treatments with Dr. Howell. When Xander had his 12-month
checkup, doctors were amazed, saying that he was the most
neurologically advanced baby they had ever seen. He was put
through the tests for 18-month-old children and easily
passed. Xander has been walking since 8 1/2 months of age--
child.
Dr. Howell does not believe that Xander is a superbaby but
merely normal—unimpeded in his neurological development
because his skull is unlocked and exerting no pressure on
his brain. Most other children do not develop as quickly,
and are functionally impeded even into adulthood, because
they don’t have this advantage.
